Summer 2019
Want to make a real product this summer? We’re looking for three interns to spend the summer designing new consumer products. Each intern will be given a design brief for a unique product, and they will work through the design process with one of us as a professional mentor. After ten weeks, interns will present their final designs—including research, CAD models, working prototypes, manufacturing details, marketing considerations, and graphical treatments.
Additionally, successful designs may go on to be mass produced and sold nationwide, and interns will be named on any relevant patents. Interns will also work alongside Objex on ongoing projects for clients in various industries. The program has been a huge success in years past, and we look forward to working with the next generation of product designers again this summer.
