-CONCEPT IDENTITY - INDUSTRIAL DESIGN - MECHANICAL ENGINEERING -
Sometimes the product is only as good as the ability to deliver it. G&S designs and fabricates a near endless catalog of sound and fabric wall choices, however, their product is created on site by skilled craftspeople. Those craftspeople make use of some specific tools that allow the fabric to be stretched an inserted into a proprietary frame. However, the tools provided where rudimentary at best and certainly were not consistent with pride and quality of the brand they represent. Applying our combined knowledge of brand language creation, ergonomics, and short run manufacturing techniques resulted in a set of tools that is not only used by the company but even sold to competitive installers.

MATCHING PRODUCT BEHAVIOR WITH EXPECTATIONS OF HOW THINGS WORK
Meet Hank
Hank installs fabric walls all day long with hands above is shoulders over 80 percent of his shift. Until our design he had to use heavy overweight tools with very poor ergonmics. Our goal was to to provide Hank with a tool designed to relive stress on his shoulder, elbow and hand joints reliving Hank of undue pains and boosting productivity.
